​For the past ten years Paapa Wastik has been touring in between Ghana Africa, Jamaica, Canada and the United States  performing and producing alongside various artists some of which include: Anthony B, Sizzla, Ky-mani Marley, Lutan Fyah, Capleton, Tony Rebel, Queen Ifrica, Warrior King and many more.

​Notable appearances include

Paapa Wastik's headlining appearance at Northwest Reggae Festival in Eugene Oregon USA, Reggae on the River in California, Lafayette Reggae Festival in Louisiana, USA with Lucky Dube and another unforgettable appearance at Victoria's 8th Annual Ska Festival at Market Square alongside Mexico's Los Rastrillos, Jamaica's The Itals, The Drastics and the now defunct Arbutus Trio, 


Hailing from Cape Coast, Ghana (West Africa) Paapa Wastik has had a rich history growing up with music all around him since he was a small child. During his teen years he started performing and was a local house hold name in every community he stayed wether it was Cape Coast, Akyem Asiakwa or Accra New Town.

Singing and Performing in almost every secondary school entertainment program Paapa Wastik earn a lot of fans in Cape Coast and other regions in his Secondary School days in which got him on the front cover of the Celebrity Magazine 8th edition.  In the early 2000s his faith in Ras Tafari Livity grew stronger and that is when he decided to shift the direction of his music to strictly conscious, Roots and Reality.

In 2003 Paapa Wastik released his first album "Mama Africa" which was produced by himself alongside Gabriel FossatiBellani a friend from the United States. The same year he was invited to perform at the annual "Panafest", an internationally acclaimed Pan-African Festival. In 2007 Paapa Wastik released his second album which some of the tracks was produced in Tuff Gong by Roland Mcdermot and featured Jamaican Reggae artists like Lutan Fyah, Bongo Herman and Jah Marcus.

In 2008 Paapa Wastik song "Makoma mu Hemaa" which was produced in Tuff Gong by Roland Mcdermot was nominated "Reggae Song of the Year" category at Ghana Music Awards. 

In 2012 Paapa Wastik released his 3rd album "UNITY FOR AFRICA" which he featured Jamaican Reggae artist Jah Mason on the title track Unity for Africa which was produced at "Steven Stanley Recording Studios" Red Hills Rd Kingston 10, Kingston Jamaica.

Currently Paapa Wastik is working on his fourth album I-STORY which will be released before summer 2016...Stay Tuned!!!
